If you bought it from the government you can’t continue using GK plates, you have to apply for the normal civilian plates. And there’s no way you can get issued with old plates.

the same way you see new prado models with KAX plates

EX GK

My question; kuna inspection ilifanyika?- otherwise hii inafaa scrap yard…

I dont understand kenyan’s and their fascination with number plates. If they are issued out serially, why does it matter if a car from the 1980’s has the latest plates?
I dont know if its possible to import a vintage/antique car and actually use it on the roads here, im guessing it would have the newest plates, wouldnt it?

Late last year kuna tumwizi tuliuliwa hapo nyayo stadium. Shoot out.
Before Utumishi wakujie mwili zao, kuna hilux double cabin ilikam imejaa ma plainclothes wakiwa na riffles wazimu.
Hilux ilikuwa mpya kabsaa lakini number plate ilikuwa KBB.

It is not necessary that only new vehicles should have a new registration number plates, i can buy your KAU n decide to change the number to KCG. Kaa ukijua.

My father has a 504 , bought it before I was born and to date it still runs fine but it is rarely used nowadays

As long as it’s not more than eight years old…
