This is Guka - African Intelligence, Let's Get it Right!

I know I have been one of the key drivers of the narrative that the African is stupid. Many self-hating low-IQed baboons have latched on this to make endless deprecating statements about themselves and Black people in general. Statements like "Africans need another 1,000 years to evolve’; ‘Africa is doomed’; ‘Sisi Waafrika ni kama tulirogwa’ and such kind of nonsense.

The fact is the Black man is the most talented of the various human ‘races’. This is self-evident in various fields of human endeavour, from sports, music and even science.

But there is a snag. I think it’s Michellin or some tyre company that said, power without control is nothing.

The average African is just that; unrealised power without control. Many of us are lazy, and focus on the base things of life - sex, booze, food. After that we just go to sleep. We don’t utilise our intelligence to the full.

A few African communities have broken out of this indolent lifestyle. These basically are the traditionally agricultural bantus like the Igbo, the Gikuyu, the Tutsi, the Chagaa, the Kisii etc etc - in the nations they occupy, you will find that they are at the top of the economic ladder.

Africa’s genetic profile makes the staement ‘the African is stupid’ redundant. The fact is, Africa is the most genetically diverse continent in the world. It may shock many of you, but the average Gikuyu is genetically closer to an Italian than to a Luo! The Bushman is genetically closer to the Japanese than he is to a pygmy from the Congo forest. To tag all these diverse communities with a ‘low IQ, tumerogwa and need 1,000 more years to evole’ tag is baboonishly stupid.

What we need on this continent is not an increase in IQ points. What we need is a cultural revolution among many of our communities. More than anything else we must jumpstart some of these ‘lazy’ communities to join the modern economy. This we can do by requiring them to use their innate/inherent intelligence not to complain and device new ways of getting food aid but to become entrepreneurs. We must crush those cultures that require people to conform to archaic lifestyles like early child marriages, female circumcision, men not working (go to ‘marginalised’ Turkana and you will find its the women and children ALONE who work) etc etc. In the 19th century, the British did this by imposing a hut tax.

Imagine the boost to the economy if all the pastolarists roaming around cattle-rustling engaged in more constructive cattle farming, as the coastals took to farming and commercial fishing (it never ceases to amaze me that the sukuma wiki eaten in Mombasa comes from Nyandarwa, 700 kilometres away). Imagine the boost to the economy if Turkana men stopped spending all their days basking and instead exploited fully the potential of Lake Turkana. Suddenly things would look a lot more sunnier, and this talk of low IQs would just go away.

Look at the Somalis and the Kambas. Both come from arid areas but if you go to any town in Kenya you will find them thriving in business. Incredibly resilient and innovative people (including the Mwende kumapreneurs of Paipu). When was the last time you met a Turkana or a Miji Kenda selling anything? Like, NEVER? WHY?

To conclude, Africans are not inherently stupid. But due to our cultures and climate, many of us are inclined to be lazy. This malaise often runs in communities. If we change that, we will reap the benefits of our superior (in general) genetics.

Until then, we shall be called stupid when in fact we are not.

Now you come to tell the low IQ bonobos that they are not stupid after all. And this is after they have completely believed in your low IQ story and started regurgitating it all over.
What changed your low IQ narrative?

I have always wondered how one can actually notice that He/She is a low IQed baboon??

There are the top cultural things that hold us back in my view:

  1. Our proudness in irresponsible breeding: mwanaume akizaa watoto wengi nobody checks him and holds him up as a cautionary tale. We tend to laugh and nudge each other slyly when talking about the Akuku Dangers amongst us. Also women have a very nonchalant attitude towards birth control despite it being an absolute game-changer in the way we live our lives in modern society.
  2. Our proudness in beating kids: this has been scientifically shown to reduce intelligence. Enda uulize wale watu index one kwa darasa lako, most likely they were untouched by their parents and taught the value of reasoning from an early age
  3. “Mtu wetu” voting patterns: it’s almost like Africans want some sort of democratic monarchy system with the way they vote. We need to realize that if we incentivize leaders to prioritise issues through issue-based voting patterns, we will be better off

These are quickly fixable things

Our Emotional Quotient is low as compared to other races. Africans mostly make emotionally related decisions that end up compromising on things. When voting, they do so with emotions, when stealing public funds they attach so much emotions, when you want to fight corruptions our emotions get manipulated to the detriment of the black man. Our diverse divisions and cultures have also played a role in ensuring that we remain segregated such that even with a good proposal on how to improve our lives, people will have to first invoke emotions before they agree.

Africans are the master race but we have been brainwashed that having pig skin makes you smarter and civilized

Guka we huwa na shares apple ama ni huawei tena or was it your shine eye third cousin unataka tukuone we ni intellectual

Ps… Igbo are not Bantu they are Nilo Saharan

They are actually Atlantic-Congo, a language group completely different from bantus, cushites or nilotes.

Do you know Bantus are Niger-Congo because it is believed it is their place of origin.Do you??

See my updated reply, Atlantic-Congo.

Actually Both are Niger-Congo but Bantu has its own classification

Volta-Congo, hizi congo zimekuwa mingi, the point was, they are different from the nilotics people.

First, Igbos are not Bantus. Second, you forget to consider environmental factors. Mijikendas can’t farm using saline waters. Third, some tribes have historically been marginalised (lack adequate education, poor infrastructure, basic amenities, etc). Fourth, some tribes are minorities and their cultural and economic practices allow them to live a modest life without moving out of their homeland.

@kintu warchief and @Mediocre you two remind me of Mr. Ipu, my Linguistics lecturer during my Baba Alinituma days pale UoN…

Surely… In a clever cynism, the whole basis of this crapy rant is to pass this ignorant claim:

A few African communities have broken out of this indolent lifestyle. These basically are the traditionally agricultural bantus like the Igbo, the Gikuyu, the Tutsi, the Chagaa, the Kisii etc etc - in the nations they occupy, you will find that they are at the top of the economic ladder.

This idiot is not doing better than me, and most of my family economically. Statistically, he falls in the same category as those other keyboard warriors and nothing else, loser. :stuck_out_tongue: Kikuyus in Kenya are only superior in ransacking Kenyan budget.

Africa has EVERYTHING the world needs. DRC sits on 23 trillion USD worth of minerals. Let that sink in. In fact, if it harnessed the energy under it, it could power Africa. This is ONE country. ONE!!! Bird shit poor.
Uganda has the climate necessary to feed East and Central Africa. They’re just a massive shags.
Equatorial Guinea has massive oil deposits. The people are dirt poor. The president is the richest man, “served” over 30 years, and is grooming his son to take over.
Yahya Jammeh used to cure aids on Thursday’s…

Africa has problems! I have said a thousand times that it is not an IQ issue. It is a cultural thing. We’re very complacent and happy with shit the way it is. We are not Arabs to rise up and refuse to go home until our Bashir leaves. We’re not Hong Kongese to go to the streets because of a single law.

@MikeOck said it very well. We refuse to play the white mans game and complain when he defeats us. Australia still somehow manages Papua New Guinea…nyeudhis globally ni shida tupu. We are tolerated.

Very good analysis and thought out points.

This time your rants are conterminated by so much ignorance and cinicisism that is it’s painful read. Only a drunk baboon would think a Kikuyu is closer to an Italian than a Mijikenda. It’s all the little voices in your head buddy.

We are not bantus, we are however niger congo speakers of the Benue congo subgroup
