I've bought a few things from them and they did deliver. They have gotten much better in terms of the length of time between order and delivery. The delivery time is much shorter and somewhat cheaper too if you can get in direct contact with the vendor and bypass jumia entirely.

I ordered an item sometime back and it was delivered. I was abit unhappy about their drop off manenos. They send a rider who calls you when they arrive ! Really strange. So first time I happened to be really far away. Second time I could not leave the office about 2km to their drop off point. I told them where am located and insisted that if the rider cannot do 2 km he can f**k off back to Nairobi and buy the product himself. It was delivered.

I have bought tones of stuff online but if you want to go for an electric gadget. avechi is hands down the best online vendor. They do same day delivery or 24hrs max. Also they sell only authentic stuff.

If you want to buy something from Jumia, make sure you check the number of orders the vendor has fulfilled on the product. Generally you want to see thousands of orders as it signifies reliability unless it's a very nice product.

They used to have phone number of the vendors on there. I guess someone wisened up. But you can still Google them. Most have FB pages with their details.

Jumia ni upuzzzy...i once had to return a product thrice for their wrong delivery. Ask for door delivery akileta hio simu nyanganya yeye and disappear.

very reliable. Though Mashinani it can take some time longer than usual. Hapa Nairobi we get our items in 2-3 days. ikienda sana 5 days. Kuna siku nimebuy something in the morning, the next day jamaa Wa delivery ananipigia kuniuliza kama around aniletee cargo.

Delivery is normal , if you've used FedEx dhl and all , they call and bring it to your door step .
