today's word.

Then he breathed his last, dying at a ripe old age, grown old after a full life; and he was taken to his kinsmen." - Exodus 25:8 In the Old Testament, the Holy of Holies was the dwelling place of God – if any man had any sin in him he would die the instant he set foot in there (Lev 16). God resides in us today (1 Co 3:16) and we are called to be set apart. We were bought with a price (2 Co 6: 16) not to live for ourselves but for the sake of him who died to give us life (2 Co 5:15). Perhaps you have never really considered the ramifications of being God’s temple; maybe you have even fought to keep from giving God control over your life. Today, take some time to reflect about what it means to say that Christ redeemed you and that he is your Lord and savior. If Christ redeemed you, he bought you, not with money but with his own blood.

wish you a blessed Wednesday.
