They sacked Jeremy Clarkson and have replaced him with an Ex BBC 1 radio DJ (Chris Evans)…and Matt Le Blanc from that girly annoying tv series “Friends”…
And last weekend in their bid to drum up publicity (IMO) they went to the equivalent of Uhuru Gardens and started Burning rubber, doing “donuts” and all manner of Stunts for their new show.
Now the whole of England is pissed off because they don`t take kindly to someone disrespecting the Cenotaph which commemorates all the dead from the First and Second World wars…
Pure publicity if you ask my opinion… And they have my attention Now!..
Can`t wait to see the new Top Gear minus that prick Jeremy Clarkson.
Top Gear is the Rides…
I saw the car in question here on the local news and thats what its all about for anyone that Loves cars… the new technologies etc…
As soon as it comes on youtube i will post it here… (i have honestly never heard of that ride before)…
Top Gear for me is all about the Rides Not the Personalities and i can`t wait for the new series…
Lets give them a chance. We havent seen them yet for crying out loud. And again for real car enthusiasts..... We couldnt give two fukcs if the programme was presented by the Pope New “Data” is all we want.!
Nonsense…Top Gear is not all about the rides…and am sure true fans of the show can agree with me. If it is great rides that make a good show, then top gear could have been overtaken by hundreds of other car review shows from around the world. For me the show was not only about the cars but the personality of the three presenters and their cockiness in presenting the show. There is a reason why it is the most popular car show in the world. it remains to be seen just how long it can hold its own against the 3 old masters in their rival show on Amazon Prime. My bet is that all Top gear Fans will follow the trio to their new show. As for the new crew at bbc Top Gear…they will have a tough act to follow.
The 3 old presenters will even have a Harder time getting viewers to Flick their Channels to Amazon Prime.
Who even has time for such behind the scenes TV shows?
If its not on Mainstream Telly especially in England, Nobody has time to look for Pay per view shows that Everyone can watch for Nothing on their Cable-less telly.
And if the 3 old presenters show doesnt take off in the UK (of which it wont).... it wont take off anywhere in the world.
No audience means less Budget and less “sponsorship” …remember that…

FYI it won’t be a pay per view show. As long as you are an Amazon Prime Member, you will have access to the show along with other premium video content offered by amazon. If the show is good enough it will attract viewers regardless of whether it is on mainstream cable or not. shows like House of cards on Netflix have already demonstrated that. Besides top gear is a big deal not just in the UK, but also in the US and china. These fans are bound to follow the old presenters to their new show. Your argument about the probable failure of the new show on amazon is purely based on your speculation and no hard facts.
I for sure don`t watch anything that goes beyond Mainstream Recordable TV or Youtube. and i represent a massive demographic clientele of such a show.
I simply have no time for Netflix and Amazon prime as much as they are readily available.
I used to record Top gear and watch it after like a month all in one go when i had time.
Whichever show people choose to watch they it will never be the same because, the 3 putas (Jeremy, Hammond and May) were Top Gear and their new show without me aint much of a show. Chris Evans is a typical bloke, he cant multi task and Matt LeBlanc is just a petrol head. But Top Gear will never be the same.
