Torn/Damaged ligaments

I have been having this pain kwa ankle.(mimi ni tennis player. So anytime nikiwa kwa uwanja mguu unauma) since 2016.June ikazidi nikaenda hosi.X~ray kuja kumbe nikaambiwa kuna "chip fracture at distal end of Maleola bone due to STI(soft tissue injury) na pia joint zikawa zimeachana.Nikawekwa cast. After kupona,X~ray ingine ikasema ati joint bado haijashikana kwa sababu ya Damaged liganents.Nauliza hivi, how long does it take for ligaments to heal ju sasa mguu siwezi kanyagisha chini hadi september and can i be able to play ikifikia October??Madaktari kina @luther aka. @Luther12 saidia. @introvert kaa kando wewe ni daktari wa kipikipi na msedes benz sio binadamu.

What self respecting man plays tennis? Meffi kabisa. Gayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

Wee my understanding is that it takes almost forever to heal these injuries. I fractured my ankle months ago and was in a walking boot/crutches for months. The pain was unbearable 24/7. Now I am in physio and it still really hurts. You will not be playing for a v long time ujue hivyo. I used to shout at Chelsea players on the screen…‘weeee ukira tiga wana noogle eno’ as they rolled in pain. Now I know why footballers of both teams gather round an injured player.

you need to open your mind beyond your village, ghasia!

mimi ni tennis fan…I play tennis, badminton lakini Chess is my thing!
Monopoly tulijaribu but after wife anunue an entire Street, nilimwogopa! I no longer play with her…

For the injury to heal faster and effectively ili isiwe ina funguliwa at the slightest force, reduce the amount of pressure applied to the inured area. Hivyo stay away from the court and any physical activity that might open up the damage for I think 4-5 months then from then anza physiotherapy for strength and conditioning. Bure itapona but itakua kama permanent injury. Any slight force and you’re back in pain.

BTW Lecturer, just remembered some advice I used to be given at the fracture clinic. SWIMMING! and more swimming.

Hata mimi i came to learn it the hard way.The past few months have been an eye opener for me.How people treat people with disabilities is just too bad.Sikupenda experiences. Most of the buildings in Nyeri,Nyahururu and Nakuru are not PLWD friendly.Hakuna climbing ramps na zingine hazina lift.Too bad.Magari pia ni balaa.Unless you are ferried in a private vehicle au Ambulance, you are in trouble.

Shida naogopa maji yamezidi ya karai.Kwetu hakuna mito,ni dams mingi so parents would beat you like a burukenge wakijua ulikuwa umekaribia, sio hata kuingia kwa dam.Na horrible stories of dead people waiting huko kwa maji.

Unawezatembea Rift Valley sports Club October 5 and 6 ujionee wachezaji wa tennis all over Kenya in action in the HUMARA Tennis Tour~Nakuru na pia unawezacheza.Au pia ulipie wife acheze.

Yes indeed. I learnt that too. I do not know how disabled people get by, it has been a life changer for me. My journey to work is a short bus ride away but even that was a bloody nightmare. Each time I heard…‘this bus terminates here because of bla bla bla’ just fuaa I knew I was fucked because normally I would get off and leg it fast. Some mainline big stations hawana lifts. I was in a flood of tears by the time I got to work. What I have learnt is that a fracture or such injuries is psychologically damaging too. Mine is the right foot so I had to condition the left foot to ‘think/work’! But I also learnt that there is faith in humanity…still left. One of my bosses used to make my coffee to save me hobbling to the kitchen…at the same time we have some real bitches. There are seats reserved on the bus/trains for the pregnant and disabled folk and some folk will still be seated until you ask them…‘pls can I have the seat’:saitan::saitan:one day there was a real fire alarm in the building and everyone is normally asked to use the stairs. How now and I am on the 7th floor? The security dudes had to walk up the stairs for me and carry me in their arms all the way down.

I have never ever ever felt so helpless and vulnerable.

I got the injury by falling on the treadmill kwa gym. Sijawahi rudi gym tena. Forget tennis for now and find another thing to do else like Ken says it will keep opening…and this will create huge probs in old age! as I have been told.

Why now? how do you arrive at such a conclusion?

experience madam
I have seen most people around me get injured on the ankle, the tibia and femur, knee several times. Big bodied people always find it hard to adapt hence take longer to heal coz the injured area is constantly subjected to pressure unlike with lean bodied people.

You are gaddamn wrong bro.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:Dbut working on it. Those that have my mbishas here must be laughing ukinipee Momo status:D

I hear you kabisa. I am Kiambuborn. I used to attend the fracture clinic each week and the first thing you do is take an x-ray which is sent to the Dr’s screen by the time umuone. Frustrations each week…as in not much improvement etc bla bla bla…oh look at this whatever needs to be joined here …anaonyesha nani? Ngai…
Fanya hivi…put a lot of water in a big karae, good book to read and dip your foot there for hours. Thank me afterwards.

Enda greasing nanii.

Daktari anasema enda ukae wiki ingine moja.I was supposed kukaa na plaster wiki sita.I hit 10 weeks.Pure hell i tell you.Kila kitu ni kutegemea watu. And then huwezi kunywa ama kula sana. You never know when “shit will hit your pants”.Unless you use a good loo, itakuwa balaa.

Pia unapata watu sadist sana.Hakuna heshima. They pissed me off kila wakati but unavumilia tu ju hujiwezi.Thank God principal nilikuwa under yeye alinielewa nilikuwa naenda darasa nikiskia mguu uko sawa ju baridi nayo ni balaa.
