TZ SGR.

Some guys were here criticizing Kenya for borrowing to build the sgr and praised Magufuli for deciding to fund TZ sgr internally…we argued, it was almost impossible seeing that EA countries economies are not that huge to fund such a big project as one investment. Sasa natumskize mjumbe toka Tanzania…

Makofi, three pillars for 2 years at this rate they will finish in 2050.

In 1 year CBRC has built all the pillars in Kenya SGR phase 2A for 120kms between Nairobi and Naivasha.

Hawa getty images how do they acquire these photos

Wako wengi hapa Nairobi sana.

Even the photos I posted I got from Skyscrapercity Kenya forum.

Am assuming this was before it’s official opening by the President, permits were given by those China guys and you could drive on whichever side

Weeee

Not the actual road but design renders.

Hao wachina hawapumziki.
On a serious note though, those thin TZ pillars are supposed to hold the weight of a fully loaded freight train? Maybe a passenger train. Compare with those in NNP park. Looks so low budget.

That’s what I was telling guys that Tz railway is class 2 railway like Ethiopia that will carry less weight at lower speeds. Its capacity will be limited by its lighter foundations.
