A company allegedly owned by former Uasin Gishu Governor aspirant and businessman Zedekiah Bundotich Kiprop alias Buzeki will see its assets sold to recover a Ksh.118 million debt after defaulting.

The ruling revealed that after Buzeki Enterprises agreed to pay the debt by monthly installments, only a fraction has actually been settled to date.
Buzeki’s company has been fighting to save its properties, which are now set to go on sale to recover the multi-million-shilling debt.
The firm which deals in haulage is reported to have lucrative tenders to ferry goods for some international institutions
Don’t mix business and politics. Few politicians have mastered this. Keep your businesses far from your pocket driven politics. Let the management staff run them independently so that it pays its bills and make a profit. Set targets and only expect payouts from share of profits. That way if you lose, its not the end of the world, the companies are there irrespective of the political result. Buzeki started selling his dairy companies to Mama Ngina to run for governor seat after they disagreed with Gov. Mandago. In 2014 the governors of Kericho, Nandi wanted to buy his plant for 400 million so that dairy farmers from both counties in their common border can send their milk there which is closer than the KCC plants in Eldoret and Bomet. He refused and sold it to Brookside for 1 billion. He blamed Gov Mandago for the low offer price and told him he is coming for his seat in 2017. Now I hope he didn’t waste those funds in campaigns.
In Kenya if you don’t mention DP Uncle Ruto then you will not be heard by either side. For Kitaeleweka if something positive comes out in government they will push to distance it from him reminding everyone as DP he can’t even order a chief. If something goes wrong they will claim he co-shares the blame as the most powerful person in government after President Uhuru. For opposition supporters anything bad in government is UhuRuto fault. Buzeki’s success story like many others who run into politics is questionable. But I have no clue how he made his billions… May be it was through sheer luck+hard work, may be not.
Buzeki was brought to fame and money by uliam. He recently ditched uliam/ jubilee and formed his own party. Uliam has quietly flexed his muscles by asking banks and creditors to recall all loans and credit facilities offered to Buzeki. This is how we discipline boys in Kenya. You don’t pee or poop on the shoes of an elder who bought you Pampers when you were young.
