Hello, i bricked a neighbours tecno m3s trying to flash cockworkmod recovery using mtk droid tools. now the phone cant even boot into recovery or anything when i turn it on just flashes white with tecni boot logo and stucks there @snapdragon , @highschooler @Manu Guru … Need some help here…

I think you flashed wrong recovery… Na hii CWM si they stopped dev kwani hamna twrp made for that device

Download Reflash back the stock rom n it will okay then try again n flash custom recovery

Yes. Use flash tool. Flash the CORRECT STOCK ROM.

CWM can be self-made for a specific mtk device to suite it’s functionality using the said mtk droid tools. It doesn’t has to wait development from a guru!

some of these roms come with user data, please unselect when flashing, yaani uflash the basics components.

I experienced the same problem with a tecno h5 some time back! Tried everything you’ve tried and for a whole week it refused to respond. Then one day I tried connecting the device to the mtk droid tools at the boot animation screen and it was detected. Created an auto made custom recovery and flashed lollipop rom.
Sasa wewe jaribu tu, you might get lucky. If you’ve already given up… Carlcare awaits.

Ingia Hovatek.com they have stock roms for almost all MTK devices. Download extract .and flash Bootimg.& Recovery img with flash tool…I have phiLZ recovery img for m3s but saai siko kejani mpaka jioni
