My IE on Windows 7 has taken to this annoying habit of opening any link I click on, be it on emails or documents. I hate the thing with a passion. Have tried changing default application for opening .html, .htm etc to Chrome lakini bado IE na kiherehe yake still shamelessly opens them.
How do I uninstall the damn thing completely?

You can change your default browser and that should stop that behaviour. But if you really want to uninstall it… well you can disable it.
Step 1. Control Panel > Programs and Features
