The 14year old boy from Bahati,Nakuru, who was run over during celebrations has been able to seat for his KCPE in hospital. He went to celebrate because he was happy that he was now guaranteed to go to high school through the free education programme. Although he needs money for surgery to repair his broken legs.

The reason he gave for going out made me retract blaming the mum. Anyway, it has happened. I hope he does well. I’m happy that kids are able to identify such benefits and have their own good reason to celebrate; not tribal reasons. It’s beautiful.
