Vehicles are very cheap in UG compared to KE due to the import age limit. I was thinking, i need to own some SUV at a very affordable cost…this is my plan.
Go to UG buy a SUV , come back buy a very cheap salvage max 50k, remove the number plates and put them on my new vehicle. Then buy 3rd party insurance, (they don’t even ask for log book, just number plates)
Just realized that in my 6yrs of owning vehicles, no one has ever needed to prove that the number plates belong to the car.
Of course don’t try selling the car coz the buyer will do a search with NTSA.
Kuna msomali beste yangu did that…aliuziwa Prado Ugx at 800K…mpango yake ilikuwa kuleta county arentisha ama Ngos watumie
Kidogo kidogo gari before ifike nairobi alipatana na flying squad ya UG
Apparently owner of the vehicle was murdered some months ago and vehicle had been stolen
Just to hint you just look at all number plates in SUVs exceeding 3000cc
You will note they have some unique number plates EG 777K,300R, 444X etc. Easy to identify plates
i know of a person who brought this v8 kwa container anasema ni daiper or some cheap shit anavoid taxes zote alafu anacheza kra vifiti.alismamishwa na flysquad kati kati ya mombasa rd kama drug kingpin.the cops even had ipads to show him evidence yenye haezi ruka .long story short alikua anakuliwa na flying squad kila saa hadi akaamua kukata kata io v8 auze tu ka parts.
How do KRA, Police find where these cars are, and also those who have duplicate licence plates? Yani gari inashikiwa Isiolo that there’s another with the matching plate Kitui…how do they do it?
