wakubwa what are your experiences (if any) with this machine in terms of power, maintenance, fuel economy etc.
looking to buy a first car so nataka maoni.

I am biased against vw. No experience but reviews zake ni machida tu. All reviews seem to be quoting similar problems.

It is just a longer and taller VW Golf. So if you like the Golf, you might love it’s MPV version.

I’d personally recommend VW. But it isn’t a Toyota so you should maintain it well. Service regularly, use proper oil and plugs. Which should really go without saying.

I have a friend with a 1.4 golf for the last 6 months hivi.He was telling me that the mechanic Kwa garage ilikuwa hapa waiyaki way opposite Brookside drive junction (moved to Kikuyu ,exclusive deals with German cars) alikuwa ana mwambie the major issue with the VW hizi ndogo ni gearbox and the problem is widespread .

Vile umeambiwa. Its a van with 5 seats or 7 depending on configuration, dont expect it to have power (its not a sports car) and if it does go wrong then employ the services of a competent mechanic.
