If you must gamble, do it against your friends where you have a say in setting the odds, not against a company that has already set the odds. Better still use a betting exchange instead of a bookie.

The only reason I don’t engage in betting is because I don’t know the process, I don’t know how the apps work and I have shielded myself from understanding the whole thing.
One of the many hats I wear is that of a Statistician so I understand how odds are calculated but when it comes to betting I have created an effective mental block.
I will never bet and I will never seek to beat the system. That way I get to keep the cash I have. I am a very competitive person by nature. getting involved in a circus event where the odds are stacked against me is something I cannot accept.
