wa! already flooded utaweza?. what is your capital? there are alot of mineral water treatment, bottling and packaging; dasani,keringet, aqua,silverboy etc zingine zina jina zingine funny sana hata siwes kumbuka! compe ni stiff sana hapa mblo… try SWEETENED/FLAVORED WATER… si you’ve seen silicon valley tv series? kama iyo sasa’ that will sell cause enyewe i will be your #1 customer cause instead of buying juice which i might find expe and the usual “mineral” water which am used to; i’ll need something different; a product out of the box; like sweetened flavored water. ama kunazo hapa kenya? i stand corrected; sijaziona…
Market is flooded. Why not give you water a twist. Put in some taste…like the orange water I have seen being sold in some joints…
Actually the main thing is proper marketing which we r well braced
There’s such a product in the market. It’s called quencher /afia /coke /soda… Are you willing to compete with those?

Kunayo Aqua Mist flavored…my favorite. i hate the plain taste of water na sitaki Juice(Soda, afia et.al), Aqua Mist flavored water does it for me. and i think its the only one in the market. shida ni it has not been marketed as a mainstream alternative to plain old water. labda hapo @Richhot utaweza try.
You can try it,bottled water market is to big to be flooded,be creative and know your target market.you can even try customized branding for clubs ,events,organizations etc

flavoured water brands are several, enda nakumatt kwa soft drinks section utazipata kwa wingi problem is 500ml costs 60 bob kama soda.
Jaribu Carbanated Mineral water - basically Sparkling pure water. I find it very quenching when you are abit hang-overed.
And also don’t forget to be updated on how KRA will be taxing soft drinks. There’s a tax system that will be fully roled out from 2017… (Google it)
Before engaging into this biz do ur maths properly. a 500ml bottle cost approx Kshs.6.00, a good label costs Kshs. 2.00, labor per 500ml (i.e labeling, filling etc) @ Kshs. 1.00, thats Kshs.9.00 before adding cost of electricity, transport, admin and other. Therefore the cost might get to approximate Kshs. 15.00. The best selling price you can get is max Kshs. 17.00. do ur research well. Good luk.

Am not sure of the prices but u can inquire from safepak or general plastics. however, the refilling biz can do better moreso if u get companies and corporates to supply. A good example is Keringet; the have majored in refill business.
