We never use borehole water for drinking, do we? We’ve known all along that it’s unsafe! Only unscrupulous food vendors would cheekily use it to COOK, but they will not offer it for drinking unless you insist. The piped water is what could send Mombasa into panicland if it was said to be unsafe!

Is it not just the other day they were telling us how unsafe bottled water in Mombasa is? And, in any case, that borehole water has a distinctive taste, and a Mombasa resident is more than well placed to recognize. Piped water has the familiar chroline taste and, sometimes, smell.

Hata ya chupa…60% of bottled water in Msa is of questionable source and therefore quality.

If you’ve specifically received the Hep. A vaccine, then you need not worry.
