Many Kenyans have also created websites to get the DCs after the frustrations with accounts. The websites are competing and Google is also trying had to censor academic sites. I understand researchers from oxford university are in the country trying to understand how the system works. They will then work with the search engines to frustrate the academic sites that are threatening intellectual integrity of students across the world.
Why would I waste sleepless nights for a meagre payday if I can afford to venture into a more productive business? Have you seen the prices of decent property lately? Tens of millions. You won’t afford that if you continue jobbing using accounts. Right now I can tell you with authority very very few people make above 250k net from accounts. Countable few. Worse still, very few writers are worth over 10 mil even after almost one decade of writing. Take that to the bank.

@Mayai Kumi Kumi take my advice very seriously. Ukipata option, try your best to exit academic writing for other prospects. Next year, you will have the same problem and it will keep getting worse as the industry becomes flooded due to low barriers to entry and CPPs drop. At writerbay, only 2 people make above 250k net, on average. What are the chances of being among the 2, almost nil. I think academic writing is a good place to get start-up capital for other solid businesses. Have an exit strategy. Today, very few writers are worth 10 million or over despite the industry being over 10 years old. Most of the few successful ones ni watu wa DCs. What does that tell you? It is smarter to get capital and launch a business than slave for writing companies. I came to this realization a while back and exited. No regrets.
