I didnt see that. @john_doe you are observant

Matiang’i did a good job.

:D:D:D

What exactly did he do? Did he rescue anyone? Did he co-ordinate any rescue efforts or do anything to counter the assailants?

what did he do?

He did what Ole Lenku didn’t do.

I believe stepping back and letting his generals/commanders do what they know best…

micro-managing limit thinking!

So you are saying he deserves accolades for simply doing what he is supposed to do in the first place?

What if his father is named matiangi hence was matiang’i? Wa Shiro, Wa Koigi, Wa Thiong’o, Wa Khamala.

Nikikumbuka how Ole Lenku alikuwa amechengwa naumwa na kichwa. I wonder how he is performing as a governor

In societies where people do what they are supposed to do as they are supposed to do them, you reward success and punish failure… sadly for us “anything goes”.

However, if you are so progressive as to subscribe to the above so-perfect society, then you should not have a problem with Matiang’i getting accollades for doing whatever he did (or didn’t) do… You surely didn’t expect him to pull a Steve Mbogo challenge now, or… did you!!? The Generals never won a war… but they always took all the credit!!!

Election of Lenku made me believe that the election was stolen.

Thanking of applauding someone for doing exactly what they are charged to do is a manifestation of mediocrity.

That is my opinion.

One of my friends from Kajiado told me that he’s as mediocre as ever
