the traffic between kenol to karatina is worrying and mostly on weekends.
imagine last saturday nilifika in nairobi kitu 12am having left karatina @7.30pm.
we as the central people,contribute the largest share in tax evasion and also contribution in tax,how else would the govt reward us if not by giving us a dual carriage from nairobi all the way to nyeri.the above measure will increase our production so that we can be able to pay more tax.

imagine driving from Nairobi to Karatina, frm Nairobi you use superhighway and dual carriageway hadi Kenol, then frm there to Makutano a hell of a road, then from Makutano to Karatina, the road becomes nice all over again… SMH
As a lad from the said slopes of Karatina, I do not support a dual carriage way to Nyeri. We shall use helicopters once we start selling oil in Turkana…

Actually, there were plans to do it up to Marua during Kibaki’s tenure, but i think Kamwana shelved them in favour of i don’t know 10,000 Kms of tarmac mashinani
