We Kenyans should be ashamed of ourselves

A coup in Zimbabwe is more peaceful than a demonstration in Kenya, I used to think Zimbabwe is a shit hole of a country but the recent events have proven otherwise, those people are very organized their city very clean compared to ours and most important of all they are not violent and bitter like us. Tribalism and corruption has made Kenya go back to the dark ages.

Sawa

Too much democracy has f**ed us

They are exactly where we were some 15 years ago in 2002.
Just watch this space as greed of many and vested interests get the better of the leading elite.
Mugabe is/was the glue that held Zimbabwe together. Now wait and see how many mugabes will mutate as a result of this coup.

Why would you be ashamed?

How about their infrastructure, democracy and GDP, Mugabe was kind of a dictator

it’s just like SA in terms of cleanliness. white rule tends to do that.
But no country tops Botswana; which in itself cannot be said to have had “white rule”

Raila will never be President

now you know and accept. that’s progress!

Haiya its true but I think our political leaders are to blame. …

Peaceful Zimbabweans lol where have you been, tell that to white settlers and the victims of the Gukurahundi massacre. Nevertheless if Mugabe hadn’t resigned you would have seen real savagery. The people were waiting to be unleashed on him.

I think the same too. They are at the point where almost everybody did not want moi. Nairobi was clean and roads had not been encroached upon.
Give them 50 years if they don’t fall into a civil war.

Zimbaweans wanaongea english haina accent kama wakenya

Hata Windhoek, Namibia- small but very clean and organized.

During Moi’s final years Nairobi wasn’t clean. Hata the few remaining public toilets were very filthy and some roads had been grabbed. Actually, buildings were demolished that had encroached on the current Northern Bypass.

The situations are not directly comparable. Were JaKuon in any other country, they’d have had Rwanda-scale massacres. We have a rare gem in Kenya that no other country in the world would care to have. This guy willfully pursues chaos and sectoral violence; with the help of foreign agents, he spends sleepless nights scheming ways to antagonize communities against each other, and yet Kenya has managed to stay together. Frayed, but we still hold our heads above water.

Never knew that. I’ve never even given Namibia a 2nd thought.

Democracy is overrated. in Kenya its suicidal especially when we’re faced by one man who has never lost an election, has fulltime hired goons and wins in propagandas. Any country faced with such threat is set for anarchy

Me neither . Just checking on google satellite and that city is really well organised and planned … kwanza the road networks are unbelievable … Huko hawajui jam ni nini .

Namibia wako kama sisi in the 70s
