What car problems are you going through?

I was having my car rear bushes replaced last week, to reach the axle, the fuel tank had to be brought down. The bushes were replaced and I went home, the following day after starting my car there was a pungent petrol smell, I thought I had a leakage in the fuel tank. I took the car to the mech yesterday , they brought down the tank and the fuckers had cut a small pipe that connects the tank to the vapor canister, they fixed it since you can’t get a new pipe but today the smell still persists, I’ll take it back on monday and wee what the mech says. Am thinking of searching for the pipe in grogon or ruai yards if the problems persists.

Weka gari parking hadi you sort out the leak usije ukuwe roasted alive.

There is no visible leak, just the smell, but I’ll have it fixed

I’m working on a bike that’s been dead for years. Owner thinks I’m a con coz of items that I missed in my first list of requirements.
Now I’m working on a CDI and have to keep all the tiny bits I replace for the final audit.
Rebuilds are the worst.

nunua spanner, screw driver na hiyo ka pipe ujiwekee tu. kuna vitu zingine roadside mechanic hawananga idea. Vile naskia ni kama walikuwa wanabahatisha tu.

Best advice so far. My rear car door jammed last week and I took it to a mechanic. He opened and removed the lock, but was unable to fix it back. He called “electricians” to do the job and they were unable to. Then he came to me asking me what to do! Imagine me giving him advice and I had taken the car to him to repair. It was getting late so we agreed he would proceed the next day. When I got home, I went to the internet, found out how it is fixed, bought the required Y-spanners and fixed the damn thing in less than 20 minutes!

Huyo mekanika amekubeba babyish. BTW in vile tu jibaba ingine aliuuliza “what do you want me to do” !

Most of these problems can be fixed on your own with just a little research and the right tools. Always remember Safety comes first, and YouTube is your friend.
