What I Understand

As long as election materials are made available to polling stations, the election will have been deemed to have taken place even if no voter shows up. It is not the mandate of the iebc to go get people from their homes and make them vote. mwaonaje wanakijiji wenzangu

True

True but reality is voters will show up in all counties. Remember all counties have government workers. They will show up. Boycotting this election is not really a choice.

agreed

Why is it an issue then…

Even if two people vote per polling station, one for Uhuru the other for RAT, it will be considered 50%/50% and credible.

It would be a serious blow to IEBC, if it is not their mandate why do they bother conducting civic education. Political parties only objective is to sway the voter to vote in their favour.
