what is the future of web developer after the AI

AI’s biggest threat is not in taking jobs. I think it is in millitary application/weaponization. AI means: learn to repair itself, make independent decisions etc and that means inevitably AI will one day go rogue.

Developers need to be very flexible, new technologies are emerging very fast some of which are allowing rapid development.
I am proficient with C# but am now required to know asp.net core, angular if i have to remain relevant.
Its developers who are supposed to jump into that AI thing and become pro in them, problem is that our environment does not support the swift change from one area of specialization to the other

ha ha ha ,
in the late 2000s while in school learning programming, some lazy scams were spreading the fear that drag-drop User interface IDEs and code generators like netbeans with java and many other languages would eliminate need for programmers, and that business people would be developing apps to do what they needed… “just drag drop shit and run”

Turned out to be bullshit, i have been a coder for 10yrs and can tell you, you will always need programmers, web designers & developers to make software , websites and do designs …

AI may bring smarter tools to make work easier, run better tests, but the remaining part will still need coders and web guys to patch up…

I think we will never see AI in practice, some things needs the precise empathy, feelings, decision making and reaction of a human being. I think AI will remain a concept and if otherwise i think they will used to perform causal works…

The greatest thing that can happen to mankind is the success of Regenerative Science. Small dicked men can grow their cancer lump like pen to their liking.:D

The thing is already at play in Western countries.Being used to run a whole office operational process.Robotics and AI are actually blending so well.Ni vile tu naweza blow cover yangu naweza tumia wewe link uone how our "Sarah"robotics is handling customer care services so well.

Tuma link nione am not interested in your cover

AI ni artificial insemination

Reminds me of the small matter of computers taking all over jobs … in the 80’s - 90’s

Some manufacturing companies now use robots to fetch the exact number of parts and components required at the precise time they are required on the production chain. These components will often vary depending on the product, model, variation.

Also, self-driving vehicles are on the increase.

… just to name a few.

Ai will take over

I think AI as people think of it will never come to fruition. The AI we have today is predictive analytics, that enables machines to continuously do predictable and repetitive tasks. But when it comes to say, replacing a developer or a driver, it gets dicy. Computers can’t think, they can just calculate very quickly. For instance, the time displayed on your computers and phones is based by repetitive addition of time units based on GPS satellites(if you set auto time). The time is adjusted by adding a time unit to the Linux epoch time. Every single time change is a result of your computer adding the units from the epoch time and then dividing it by years, days, hours, minutes seconds e.t.c. There was a time you could brick an iPhone by setting the date anywhere before he Linux epoch time, and the fix was prevent users from doing such…the type of AI that thinks like a human being is a long way off, if ever

I think we’ve lost quite a number of jobs. Think of a manufacturing business needing to report on stocks and financials. How many staff did they need then vs now?

AI is good, but developers hatuendi mahali…
