A Roman Catholic pope cannot end up in hell. Hiyo sahau. Unless anataka kwenda huko mwenyewe…which is impractical, because they know enough about hell to NOT want to go there. Pope John Paul II is in heaven. He’s already recognized as a Saint in the Roman Catholic Church.

hell is also called Hades, a term denoting the underworld. In Kiswahili we know it as kuzimu. In the Bible, we are told Jesus descended to Hell, or Hades in some translations and took the keys of Hell from the Devil… and opened the gates of Hell, or Hades, or Kuzimu in the Swahili version… and the righteous men who had died were resurrected.
