Fast forward to 2019. Should Mombasa once more reintroduce an electric streetcar system? A short line that similar to the Seaton Tramway in the UK. That would be a tourist attraction showing off Mombasa tourist sites to locals and international visitors. And it would do a loop starting from the new Cruise Ship Terminal, heading towards moi ave., old town, fort Jesus, mama Ngina Waterfront Park, Likoni cable car, etc. slowly this system can be built up quickly until all of Mombasa is connected by trams.
