Which is the Best Shipping Service?

I’m trying to import a few products from Amazon, but the available shipping companies are too expensive. Like Kentex cargo is $15 per kg, just like StatesDuka. If I’m buying a T.V that is 9kgs, that would mean I have to pay 13,500 for shipping when the T.V set is around 24k. Too fucking expensive. I would rather go to town and buy the same t.v for 35k.

It would only make sense to pay $15 per kg for light-weight products like phones.

Are there other companies that offer cheaper prices for shipping bigger products like T.V sets, computer parts e.t.c?

Following

Hata Mimi niambiwe. Tried calling Africa Salahiya but nikambiwa minimum ni 25kg.

Nurex cargo wako aje?

Things that are locally available and roughly same price as Amazon after market research unaimport za Nini.
Secondly hizo company umetaja ndizo most reliable. Key word is reliable. Occasionally have upset but highly reliable.
Kuna zingine Kama aramex cost per kg may be low but tax kra hutaepuka. Whereas KenTex somehow hiyo hesabu utaepuka (tax). Don’t ask me how.

Other options are quite limited from the ones above, however kama unajiamini na freight forwarding jargon unaeza contact Air Carrier companies that kentex and the rest use kubebea mzigo zao wakuletee as LTL na uwe tayari kugrease KRA kwa port of entry mzigo ikiland…

Kuna vitu zingine ukipata locally, prices ziko juu sana. I’m trying to see if it’s cheaper to import directly from the source. Also, there are some powerful gaming and programming desktop PCs that I’ve tried searching on the local market to no avail. Even if you find them, they’re very overpriced.

For now, it only makes sense to import phones and other small products.

I’ve heard Amazon Global ships directly to Kenya. Anybody with experience?

These prices are for air transport.Thats why it’s advisable to import high value but light items like phones, jewelery etc You pay for speed and convenience. Otherwise you have an option of sea which is longer but cheaper.

Naah. there is something called volumetric weight. even if you have very light shit but occupies a large volume, they calculate the weight as a ratio of the volume. the extra space it occupies could be used to transport other stuff. so you must pay more.

all these companies nimegundua pia wako na some fees huwa hawasemi…

sasa TV pia unaimport? Kwani kwa supa zimeisha?

Vitu poa kuimport ni IT stuff. otherwise the rest unaezapata huku cheap sana…

Electronics zote supermarket zinakuanga overpriced. Kama tu furniture.
