In society, we are programmed as human beings that there will be leaders and there will be the rest of the people in order to compliment and ensure a smooth running of affairs. This can be also witnessed in other organised creatures such as bees, ants, where you will find the Queen, the workers the soldiers and so forth. (btw i think next to humans these are some of the next intelligent animals which have an organised society) This in my opinion, does not mean that if you are the leader guarantees your happiness rather, finding your place in society and being content and good with what you do is the ultimate source of joy… Many people are stuck in the wrong place in life and are constantly unhappy because they have diverted from their real calling in life. For example, the reason why Africans are constantly in problems boils down to wrong people being in leadership positions . they are not meant to be leaders. Period. The reason why this is rampant is also because we fail to appreciate the efforts of the so called lower end careers and putting importance /higher monetary value to management positions.
In my opinion @vuja de lifting a sack at pembe floor Mills for Mr patel is just as important as the rest of us because if we all refuse to do it, even uhuru kenyatta will be forced to go plant his corn. The failing of the capitalism system is we create poor people and rich people just because of what one does. In my opinion, the ideal society should be as long as one works, he /she deserves a decent and comfortable life despite what he does for a living. This means appreciating more what others do and the government protecting them from exploitation from rich corporations. It’s very possible but due to our inherent greed fueled by capitalism, you will get a single person amassing wealth /resources which he /she will never use in his lifetime. We should borrow a leaf from how traditional african societies operated and we shall have no undesirable work because remember each one of us is just as important as the other in the big picture of the society.
