Urban radio stations like nrg radio will fail because majority of listeners come from the rest of the country. Vernacular radios are taking over in rural areas. There is no way you can find nrg playing in hotels in garissa, bomet, nyeri ama kisumu. Either you broadcast in kiswahili or vernacular or you won’t go far in terms of getting advertising revenue to break even visavis your expenses
