Why are our kale brothers like this?

I have noted something funny about our Chamgen brothers. I live in a block of apartments with 5 units. Most of the houses are occupied by young families. Now there is this bedsitter in the same block. It was initially occupied by a certain kale guy. But since two years ago, about 5 guys are now living in the same house. Most have stayed for more than one and a half years and don’t seem eager to move out, yet they are all working. Mbona hivi? I have always hated sharing an apartment with another man, evei if he is my brother or close relative.

Mkale hawezi kuja Nairobi aishi kwa slum. Afadhali waishi hivyo akishindwa kabisa atarudi Eldoret ama Kericho alime acre zake kadhaa. Nairobi kuna stereotypical slum za waluhya (kangemi/ungwaro) Jaluo (kibera) Kikuyu (Mukuru kwa whatever) Kamba (paiplain) etc… lakini wakale hawana

That’s a funny way of looking at life.

What of worias like @One Star to Rule Them All . Hawa huishi at 50 in one bedsitter

Same case

Mind your own business bro, we in Karen don’t know who your next neighbor is… Maneno ya bedsitter wachia watu wa Bendora.

Those days are gone, land was available back then. Siku hizi land has become small, wakale wanahustle hapa nairobi and doing these small Jobs

Kijiji ya wakale iko wapi, sisi tuko na kavangware.

Highrise na Southlands

Tell him so. Siku hizi wakale wanafanya mpaka job za watchman.

They live modest life in the city but back home they have wives if not wife. So Nairobi ni kutafuta tu.so they minimize cost

Yes, na wengine wanaosha matako ya manyanye majuu…

Bedsitter is already small enough for one person. Mimi one bedroom sitakangi mtu anakuja kuspend. I feel suffocated.

Aache umama.

Niki soma eld walikua wanaishi kama watano kwa matchbox

True, Kales cannot live in a slum, and that is a good thing… the rest of Kenyans will not only live in a slum but will gladly turn any nice neighborhood into a slum…

Wakale wali plunder country for 24 years plus 10 ya dp

Generally waKale si migrant hivyo ati atoke RV aje nairobi bila kitu definite cha kufanya unlike those others…they are not footloose.

How they manage to stay clear from slummy areas sijui. My kaleo campus mates transitioned from JKuat to Jamhuri
