Why did BABA shed tears...

Former Prime Minister, Raila
Odinga, was among opposition
leaders who graced the Jamhuri
Day celebrations held at Nyayo
Stadium on Friday.
Raila was accompanied by his co-
principal Moses Wetangula and
the two remained calm in the
dais as the event progressed.
But before President Uhuru
Kenyatta made his speech, a
documentary was aired showing
how the Government has helped
transform Kibera slums through
street lighting, construction of
sewer lines and modern houses.
As the documentary was being
aired, the former Prime Minister
was caught on camera cleaning
the lower part of his eyes like he
was wiping a tear off.
Sources close to him intimate that
he was overwhelmed with
emotions after seeing how the
Jubilee Government is using his
housing project and launching
petty projects to kill his political
influence in the area.
Raila believes that before the
Jubilee Government started
launching development projects in
Kibera, he had already done a lot
for the people in the area.
What pains him is how Jubilee
portrays him as a failure who did
nothing for Kibera residents
during his long term as the area
MP.
Raila believes that Uhuru/ Ruto
are just trying to taint his image
by launching petty projects in the
area.
