Why I Support Githurai Demolitions

Kenyans we have become very lawless nowadys. It is uncommon to find hawkers setting up kiosks on every available roads and near even the doors of business's premises .. More so on pedestrian walkways... Pedestrians have no place to walk and risk being overrun by the cars. These hawkers now hawk anywhere they seem fit, roads, buildings and even business enterprises. They are the main causes of littering everywhere. I am not against hawkers doing their work but this should be done in the right places. What we need in this country is the instilling of law and order.. Other things are secondary and they will be attainable if we can get this right first. The boda boda guys can easily knock you on the walkways while it is strictly pedestrian ways.. The police just observe this blatant violation of established laws and they don't bother to do anything.. We need a person to instill law and order in this nation. This should be the starting place.. To move this country forward

And also give them alternative spaces...and they should also be allowed on specific streets on specific days

I'm undecided on this one. I want orderliness but I understand that hawkers are just trying to earn a living the right way.
Kwanza ngoja Uhurunomics of destroying fish industry and sugar industry becomes entrenched you will see hawkers outside your front door. Kibaki had done so well to return the economy huko mashinani by helping farmers but with Uhuru farmers are getting decimated.

There is no problem with hawking but it should be done in the right places at the right time

Where did you get this fallacy? Subsidies were non-existent. A bag of DAP was going for 6k. 6k! Sahii ni 3400 na vile tunapiga nduru. Mumias was killed during his tenure, Pan Paper pia. Dairy co-operatives zilifungwa zote except one in Nyeri (forgotten the name) and Metkei Dairies in Keiyo. Na ati he rewarded these two for not going down. Sometimes you overrate Kibaki

So the farmers are better under Uhuru? Because from what I see and read there is total destruction of farmers.
