WHY THE HELL ARE BITCOINS MORE EXPENSIVE ON LOCAL BITCOIN?

I have noted that prices for one bitcoin are 15-20k more expensive on local bitcoin than on coinbase (which only works abroad).

Anyone able to shed light on this?

The people there are traders. They are allowed to place a margin on the price to make a profit.
Even if you were to sell on localbitcoins to one of them, you will do so at lower price than the current price of bitcoin. Ni biasaraa…

where do they buy from?

i never buying from that site again.

Through the same process. They buy at below the price from other people and sell above the price at a margin.
You have to have 0.1 bitcoin to become a trader.

you have to have 0.1 btc on localbitcoin to become a trader? Thats approximately 56k.

just seen what your talking about

cheapest is on paxful

oh shit bitcoin is up to 620k!

YASS!

In Forex Trading You Can Also Trade Bitcoin…In My Opinion Its Better If Wewe Si Billionaire

Prices in my neighborhood on LocalBitCoin is like $7,500 and they’re selling to people that don’t much about Bitcoin.

damn!:eek::eek::eek: your neighborhood is in kenya?

apana na hustle huku drumpf land.

im surprised guys are mis informed in the US

Here people don’t even know what a Bitcoin is or what it means. And if they do its so misinformed thanks to the news. Telling people to be wary of Bitcoin because it was being used to buy high amounts of drugs and sell prostitute services back in the day. lol

I saw the potential of bitcoin early and ignored it. Huge mistake.

But slowly people are learning about it thanks to guys demystifying the secrets of Bitcoin…

i also regret not buying btc earlier. I had a friend who used to badger me t buy it 4 years ago, i ignored him because i thought he was talking shit. Iv learnt to never write anyone off

Hehe i was at a college fair. And a guy was offering free 10 coins if you listened to his DEMO about the future of the coin. Guys paid no attention to him as i look back i think that guy must be relaxing on a private beach somewhere…

gad damn!
