Above is the Huduma Namaba registration form. From this form, it is obvious that the government doesn’t need to spend money in order to register people Afresh.
- The Govt has my name
- It has my place of birth
- It has the disability Number
- Why would the govt want to know my level of education? What if i get another level, will i have to notify them?
- Why would they want to know my employment status? What if i got a job tomorrow? Will i need to tell them?
- Why do they need to know my agricultural status? If i lease a piece of Land in August, will i need to tell them?
- Why would the govt want to know whether I’m separated; are they planning to reconcile us? And once we are reconciled, will they demand that i tell them? What if we separate after two weeks of reconciliation?
It is obvious that the govt wants to collect data for its own sake. They are just idle. That money would have been better used to carry out a bio-metric census.

I have been questioning, will this huduma shiet take over or replace Birth Cert number for those who don’t have a birth certificate? As in, wale walizaliwa kitambo huko kijijini na pia hua shida kupata birthcert juu hawananga birth notification.
You can still get a birth certificate without the notification thing.

I was about to ask, someone who knows its importance to educate me . I don’t really see its necessity. Why make it mandatory and yet we are lethargic and inept in securing data ? There’s currently a pilot census collecting nearly similar data. No education to the public on its importance except roadside pronounciation. There’s a hidden agenda, i suspect taxing the poor blind or for 2022, anything spearheaded by politician’s is never selfless.
