Hehe, muziki ya muafrika utaijulia wherever it is. Haitians call this Kompa/Compas, Les Martiniquois and other Caribbeans call it Zouk, the Congolese have a name for it which I’ve forgotten but the rythm guitar pattern/riff is the same all round.
I listen to Kompa and Zouk. Zouk sounds more computer generated so I gravitate towards Kompa. Hio Guitar hua dawa sana. Its great to know kuna wasee huskiza Kompa, Zouk. Kizomba also shares that tune. Then there is the francophone Africa sana sana Burundi, Rwanda na DRC wanakuaga na some zouk inspired rythms. Dezyn za Kidum. Stuff safi sana.
