Your goose is cooked

Ladies and Gentlemen I am highly passionate about uplifting the down trodden, alleviate ignorance by conducting awareness drives and infused hope among gluttonous people.
I have an affinity for game meat and decided to check on locally available wild geese in my beloved Country and came across the Spur- winged goose.
The Spur - Winged goose are the largest African waterfowl and are, on average, the world’s largest wild “goose”, inhabiting African rivers, lakes and swamps grazing and supplementing with small fish and insects such as beetles . It is from their insect diet that the poison,
cantharidin ingested periodically from toxic beetles , is absorbed and held within the tissue of the fowl resulting in poisoning of those that eat the cooked goose. 10 mg of cantharidin can kill a human. Hence the idiom “your goose is cooked”.
Disfruta tu comida.

Don’t mention goose nikiwa area man.

Kuna a flock that used to sleep at our farm, my grandmother (May God bless her soul) would collect the eggs and prepare for I and I an omelette, two of this site admin were not yet concieved.

A yummy big omelette. I got four geese and unfortunately no goslings no eggs for the last 2 years.

Pole sana Afande.

Problem might be:-

  1. Diet
  2. Hazina place ya kuswim.
  3. Zote nne ni MaJogoo.

Solve the above alufu unijenge a gosling.

Mum brought me those goose eggs can’t bring myself to eat them yet, I think Mr 4th hapa ndio atasample

They used to lay but kuna mtu alikuwa anajilea na mayai and had to put a fence to solve the problem but it become worse when they started killing my chicken so had to separate them and that I believe was the cause of their reluctance to lay, otherwise I provide everything they need to feel comfortable.

Close your eyes and take a bite of this tasty drier than chicken omelette with more yolk than egg white and has more nutrients and the best part, is almost 3 times bigger than chickens’.

If you enclose them, they cant lay, ziachilie nje, those are wild birds .Next they’ll search for some hidden places e.g kwa fence ,chini ya poultry house and they’ll start laying.
