Simple stuff go to settings>cellular/mobile networks>access point alafu create new one, name weka anything, apn weka safaricom internet if you happen to be on safcom, finally save and make default you should be good to go
Also you could be on a different network. China Mobile and China Unicom use different network technologies (wcdma, td-cdma…) so chances are yours are different which makes it impossible to connect to the local network.
I’m not saying your using a Chinese phone, just giving an example.
Have you created a Apn with respective network provider internet settings.
The phone is still locked by original carrier.
had almost the same issue with note 4, N910c. Safaricom couldnt sort me out. i had to root it and changed the firmware. Have you tried using airtel line?
