I think any change, especially separating traffic at that point would have to be stretched a good distance, if not from nakuru to eldoret, reason being if you separate traffic for a small stretch and then expect the same faster moving traffic to merge back into a narrow slower road, especially with truck you will not solve the problem, only transfer it elsewhere, but I see guys overtaking on a climbing lane when going down slope, that sort of behavior can not be sorted via infrastructure.
