thank you . I got the help from okwonkwo. im not going to bother paying the itax and the only thing that i worry about is the stamp duty not capital gain tax . I also think having a tax lawyer who can walk you through ways of beating the KRA systems legal is also a plus. your information has been supportive much . thank you
she wanted me to give her the money then she will provide me the reciept after she is done paying capital gain tax. okwonkwo opened my eyes and i just sent her the document above na amekunja mkia. Surely kenyans …why are people so dishonest? 100k ilikuwa inaenda tu hivyo…
The buyer has to pay stamp duty which is done trough itax. Migrating to itax is not an issue here. File nil returns since your income is not derived in kenya. However keep records to show that your income is derived and taxed in the foreign country you reside. Simple
No 1. do you have a KRA Pin as we speak?. If not, forget about all taxes and penalties. All you need is to register a new PIN, have the property transferred thru a lawyer. Whoever is selling to u ndiye anafaa alipe CGT on land
No.2. If you have a PIN registered in whatever year…go to itax, file all nil returns…pay the penalty…if u have mulla kama the masonic sonko…lipa pia interest…mbesha ni mingi:D:D:D, if not apply for waiver of the penalties plus interest accumulated…wakikataa ama wakidelay…lipa tu.
Muuzaji ndiye anareceive pesa or the gain so ndiye anafaa akate na afile na alipe iyo tax.
Otherwise PIN is required for stamp duty purposes.
Just google some reputable professional law firms will be able to assist u.
Dont deal with brokers or individual sellers…utauziwa hewa na upewe title…this is Kenya.
This is what Uhuru is trying to remove. Before ilikua if you have mulla in kenya you can do anything. Uliza watu wa liberian land for more info na uchunge pia yako isikue liberian.
what if they leave soon before i come back to kenya…? Nitaanza vita na ndugu zangu kortini juu ya my land ?? bro even tables turn upside down . you know that
