Are Ulefone and Umidigi reputable brands? Are they solid, durable phones? Do they have local after-sales support?

i would think that they do hapo Gill House. There’s a shop there. the name escapes me.
regarding durability, yes. my neighbour still has his 2 years later.

Their qualities are definitely superior to akina Infinix and Tecno. Especially Umidigi. Makosa makubwa? MediaTek. Ulefone has touch screen issues, though.

Oh, about after-sale support, from the companies, no. You will have to be catered for by your seller, Jumia, Kilimall or Avechi.

You will have to sacrifice on this or be willing to accept a late 2017 or early 2018 smartphone. In fact, your budget of 20K is not sufficient to get you a good 2019 budget smartphone with the specs you have stated. Go back an year or 2, top up your budget a little bit and you will get yourself a 2018 flagship like Samsung Galaxy S8.
