A “letter from Chebukati” and a “court case submission from Chiloba” all surface from in shosho media in one day. There is a pattern here to discredit the IEBC and sabotage the re-run. Clearly opposition isn’t ready and doesn’t want it. Nusu mkate campaigns are back full swing.

You remember the fake news of Akombe being denied to travel, taken off a flight, that she is cia mole and taking evidence abroad. Well she denied all that in her statement in transit. She came back on Monday (three days after) but still it was news on media. When photos of her surfaced in register office helping her colleagues in delivering IEBC submission to the petition, the same people claimed it was fake. When she did an media interview, the same media silently failed to aired it. It was too embarrassing for them to admit they ran along with a fake story for a week. So let me ask the questions that none is asking.

Why would Chair write a memo to CEO whom they work closely everyday. They can’t discuss it among other things they do on a daily basis together with the commissioners. One sit down can get answers faster and decisions made to move forward with election preparation. Then the content of the letter mirrors the opposition petition arguments which gave it away completely. So far SC hasn’t given the full ruling so no one can claim to know which areas on IEBC raised flags. I like the commissioners statement. They saw the “letter” online first. I wish to be a fly in IEBC boardroom now. The questions there will be interestingly. That said IEBC is a team effort, it was designed that way because we are suspicious our ourselves. Opposition needs a scapegoat and for now its Chiloba, it can’t be that opposition lost.
