We had a successful nomination on Monday, by Tuesday the President visited Jubilee HQ to congratulate DP Uncle Ruto for literary saving the party. The winning margins and excise was absolutely accepted in the ground by party members and voters. Anyone who was chesthumping lost but took it badly. Instead of accepting the will of the people they looked for excuses to justify their poor showing. Some decamped and lost by bigger margins. However its bigger than that. Its a thread now that in RV, Mt. Kenya, central, North Kenya, pastrolist etc where Jubilee is strong that you will be very lucky to win a second term. 99% of the party leaders will go home. Even the current ones. The rest of the country needs to do the same rather than recycle leaders for decades while the end product remains zero.

TNA and URP merger to form Jubilee in Afraha Nakuru took away all the grassroots to them. When it become clear in state house the wave has bypassed them they quickly put all state machinery to get Uhuru to a showdown meeting to kill his ambition for their candidate Madvd or he accepts to be controlled by them. Remnants of those 15 people are on different sides of the current succession issue. Well the rest is history. This current succession is even worse for state house. They lack support in the party or grassroots. Even the state players and individuals are not entirely behind kitaeleweka. They are either playing it safe by not supporting any or silently helping DP Uncle Ruto. They have leant how the entire lot of mt. Kenya went home to graze sheep after burning its favour with President Uhuru before he took power. DP Uncle Ruto is a more formidable candidate still having control at state, grassroots and even opposition. He cuts across everywhere.
