Nope. We do not have a property tax. What is happening is that Nairobi’s land is leasehold and most of the leases have expired thus leaseholders are being asked to renew their leases based on the value of land/ property in the year 1980.
If we had a property tax it would apply nationwide. Not just Nairobi.
