Is Thika Power operational ?

Yes it is. But it switches on at 5 to 5.30pm then goes off after 11.
Same to Triumph and the Embakasi Ibera Africa plant for gas.
It is only the Kengen power plants at the Coast that work full time.

That’s pretty messed up. I really am sorry about that. But we shouldn’t be surprised because it’s no wonder people do that. They promise all sorts of things and then don’t care about it at all. Classic. We should do everything by ourselves. For example, I called the guys from Ongill and had them install a new electrical outlet. Then, I started unplugging some stuff that weren’t necessary for me. Little by little, I started having cheaper bills to pay. But not by much. It’s still expensive. I hope someday, these people will keep their promises and really start helping others who in their turn helped them.

All around the world electricity companies make money by using us and our needs. The only way for having cheap electricity is to install solar power systems. The same turbine system near your house but using solar power. I know a lot of people who’ve invested in solar panels, the consumption is the same even if in your house are installed 240 volts plugs. I am on the way to do the same
