I think she is feeling that way because of peer pressure. What people expect of her verses what she wants for herself.
There is no sin that God cannot forgive. But she has to be willing to forgive herself first and accept herself and her situation. Leaving a life of pretense is hard. That is what that might be eating her.
But she needs help and is reaching out.
