Common Sense Up North

What of us in the middleground, condemned by both sides for not choosing the other.

This is a bad precedent, in future anyone with enough followers to cause chaos will refuse to cooperate with constitutional bodies until someone they do not like steps aside. MPs would love to use the same on Sarah Serem I am sure, Gubernatorial candidates could replicate the same with zeal, how are we going to tame this monster we are happily creating?

he has finally realized he was being used.

Utapelekwa round mwendaa and finally you won’t get answers

U reason well but u contradict ur self or ur stand rather.
I agree with u no official or candidate is bigger than the country.Raila can as well retire or step aside for the sake of sanity in the country.
Karibu team rwnbp.

This is not a precedent. Raila(s) situation is very unique. And I am not advocating interfering with the constitution. Im simply saying lets cast our emotions aside and look at all options.

What are you saying that it is not a precedent? We had 2007/8. The aftermath is still with us ten years later. You are not even saying what you want, just demands for an ambiguous dialogue. Well, we can guess what you want but we (as the people of Kenya) are not ready to give it because you are in the habit of taking and taking irrespective of how many children, women die in your quest for glory. NO MORE!

What is unique about Raila’s situation?
It happens the world over in every election there are winners and losers

It is a precedent as long as it can be replicated. All one needs is popular support in a 2, 3 counties and you are good to go. Joho can do it with Mombasa and Kilifi backing him up, Uhuru can do it in central, Ruto in the rift valley, a political party can pull it off in places like north eastern

How do you do it? make a lot of demands, a mixture of reasonable ones and preposterous ones, when IEBC refuses to meet all of them you declare “No elections No reforms” and we are back to 2017, doesn’t need a genius to pull it off

Have told you won’t get answers, ask how many millions supported Clinton, what’s so unique about Raila

Raila was a Prime Minister before, for one.

I doubt that you understand anything, but you cannot suppress the urge to comment even if it means feeling your way around a topic in multiple replies as you go.

JaKuon wrote a letter to the IEBC announcing his withdrawal. Though he did not use the correct form and was time-barred, he is considered an adult, free Kenyan who can chose whether or not to play. Interestingly, Orengo demanded a day later that his name be in the ballot, folowing Ekuru Aukot’s successful suit.

JaKuon then took actions that clearly supported that letter: no campaigns, demonstrations, threats and unmistakable efforts to physically prevent the elections. People died. He took a highly publicized trip to convince white men to support his weird positions.

Now you understand.

To the IEBC, the ballot papers cannot be reprinted to reflect JaKuon’s passive interest in the election. After all, wasn’t he the victorious petitioner? All JaKuon has to do now is to sit back on the 26th. and watch the process, knowing that he did not campaign and must have lost a huge following because of his destructive behavior.

Therefore, to claim that he represents a victimized minority and must be accommodated after dialogue is absolute hogwash. One cannot blackmail Kenyans with violence and ultimatums forever!!

The majority in this country must have their way. Tusidanganyane

You are definitely fucking NOT in the middle ground Simiyu.

In fact, the way you fumble with words and concepts, it looks like your ideas come from JaKuon’s rear end.

How can you consider a man who orders destruction of IEBC training materials reasonable?

What do decent men like Uhuru and Ruto have to discuss with a man who tells youths perched on trees to instruct their grandmothers, mothers, wives and sisters to demonstrate by removing their underwear in public?

Utashangaa. There will be elections on Thursday. If JaKuon appeals, his withdrawal letter and hours of supporting footage will be evidence against him. The SC cannot order ‘dialogue’.

ngoja uhuru apewe full powers tuona wengine watafanya nini

There’s no Time Uhuru lost his powers. He is just looking for a refreshment of his mandate as per the Constitution.

And so was Clinton secretary of the state, a very powerful position, even back home, Lowasa went drying, he still had a position in his country

Then read the constitution and you will understand that your suggestion which mirror the opposition demands is illegal and criminal. The procedure to remove state officials or commissioners is clearly laid out. What you asking is they simply leave on account of thought, illusion, skewed demand and criminal intent that isn’t backed by evidence or proof. So far even the wakora SC found IEBC not guilty of anything. Even Jubilee supporters who disagree with other officials have followed the law and written to the necessary institutions and asked for a petition to allow them present evidence in a tribunal that may or not meet the rigors of scrutiny by opposing petitioners. Here RAT just comes up with tantrums from thin air and expects everyone to agree. I for one I’m very happy that in 5 days this disease called RAT will be finished at the ballot and then we await if the wakora judges can redeem themselves again.

what if RAT says madvd kamelon tosha? si hiyo itahitaji tufanye nominations tena

True, @simuyu22 is very one dimensional and all arguments is centred on one thing. Whatever RAT wants. It doesn’t matter what excuses, law or constitution is broken. For us the majority we will dialogue with RAT at the ballot. All 15 million of us also have the same one mouth, thoughts and action like RAT. We decide who leads us. Not him.
