easy man. it happened to a nyeri man. in his case, bags of Pure Natal Cane Sugar were not to be paid for until they were outside his store upon which he would go to the bank, transfer the money to an account and the recipient manager would give the go-ahead for the sugar to be unloaded. it happened that sugar was just the one line of the truck near the door- the rest pure extra fine beach sand. a 50-bag sample that was to be evidence in court still lies at the nyeri county CID HQs 4 yrs down the line…

Am sorry for this guy was conned while trying to better his business…there are some pple conned for pure greed, so engrossed to silly facts that they dont see the red flags…

eg. theres this con game about a certain archaic stove which ‘mzungus are buying at 3Mn, ready market’. They introduce you to the wazungus and coz the wazungus are in the loop, you confirm its legit.’ So after like 2 weeks these guys tell you they have found sm1 with it selling at kitu 1.5mn, and you have to contribute like 1.2mn then they’ll top up, and when the profits come the sharing is in the same ratio…so now mnapeleka stove kwa mzungu mkalipwe…bosss

Mkifikisha kwa mzungu he looks at it and confirms this particular one was stolen from him, and he produces the OB and starts calling the police…and voila! Your guys take to their heels and you follow suit…PESA IMEPOTEA HIVYO
