I hear you. In the meantime perhaps you can rent it and possibly make the same amount than building cheaper rentals? Or put it on airbnb for $100+ per night? All the best.
it will take many years to make back what we invested. Renting it furnished would only fetch 230k per month.
With 40 million you have plenty of cushion to buy a very prime plot (if you don’t have one already) and construct rental apartments which can bring in more than 230k/month.
