Not all saccos are under SASRA. Sasra deals only with Saccos that have a FOSA (Banking activities). The rest are handled and report to the Ministry of Industry and Co-operatives. The Commissioner of Co-operatives suspended and lifted the suspension recently. That means they must have been duly registered as per the law.
