People need to know… Life punishes you for what you do and also what you don’t. Everything we do has a consequence… Many people go through problems, others have nothing at all. They don’t even know what they’ll eat… Or where they’ll sleep yet they still want to live.

It’s always good to talk to someone… Be outgoing. Just breath!! Depression ain’t a cute thing.

Death offers a lot more for the depressed and those that hurt everyday. Its a good choice for those without dependants. There is no need to go through deep pain everyday without any chance for joy and happiness. In such cases terminating your life is actually the best move.

I wouldn’t attend the funeral of a person who committed suicide. I feel that everybody should boycott such funerals including their families.
I think I read somewhere that in western Kenya you cannot be buried in the boma of you commit suicide. I liked that.

If you commit suicide in Western Kenya your body is buried at night and it is caned so that it is not repeated by anybody else within that locality. I heard that they do not use a coffin.

I was in an MSc class with a girl, she was the most brilliant and had her stuff together. She even went on to to PhD and was into lecturing and consultancies. Everyone was shocked last year when she ended her life

When you are depressed, you don’t control your thought but rather your thought control you…I wish more people would understand this concept.

Guys its not easy to live in a body that fight to survive and mind that tries to die…been there done that!

Antony bourdain, Avicii, Marlin Monroe, Robin William, Chris Benoit, Kaiser, Vincent Van Gogh e.t.c these were among of the greatest, resourceful, Rich, successful and strong determined people but still they couldn’t win against depression.

Watu wenye depression kuna kitu inaitwa rumination, hii ni hali ya kukazia sana mambo mabaya waliyopitia, hii huwafanya wahisi kwamba hata future yao itakuwa mbaya tu. Hivyo hupoteza matumaini na kujiua. inashangaza kuwa kuna watu bado wanafikiri kujiua ni uzembe.

Look I don’t like quitters. I could have quit many times in my life but I didn’t. I see people with serious problems who haven’t committed suicide and I identify with them and feel that I am not alone

Just avoid taking life a bit too serious and you will be safe in this world. However, am sure by the time mwanaume anajitoa uhai there must be some kind of very deep reflection and the only way out for him ni kujimaliza. Sad!
