Reasons may be many and varied: maybe the previous team embezzled resources wakafutwa, maybe they are leeching bastards na watu wamehepa, maybe they are expanding, maybe they are seeking to inject fresh talent… there are too many maybes. Unless uende hauwezi kujua. Then again if I am a HR manager, why would I want to wait to interview 30 guys at once when I can do it mmoja mmoja as they apply?

we are a funny lot, we apply & when no reply is forthcoming we complain bitterly how companies no longer hire, when selected 4 an interview then again we fault the organisation… Kwani what did u expect when applying?? Upewe appointment ya 2022??

It does not start with P and I do this every time to test my relevance in the market. Sometimes I don’t get replies and other times I attend interviews. I wouldn’t want to name it for obvious reasons.
I have read the villagers’ comments and decided to call them kesho morning and reschedule the interview to Tuesday next week. I want to know more about them and why they are recruiting from junior to senior positions yet they have been in the market for long.
Ps: Am quite OK with my current job.
